Hans Koch, a cabinetmaker, had a passion for perfect surfaces and an exceptional eye for detail that he would put to good use in the development of surface preparation and finishing products.

Since then, Koch-Chemie has grown to be respected as a leader within the automotive industry. Germany is well known for its adherence to high quality, social and environmental standards and Koch-Chemie upholds each of these. As such, surfactants are made from sustainable, biodegradable raw materials, free from halogenated hydrocarbons, EDTA and APEO, and their environmental management system is certified to ISO 14001. Research, testing and manufacturing all products in house, Koch-Chemie works closely with the automotive industry and supporting industry partners to remain on the cutting edge of customer requirements and industry expectations.
