Opti-Coat M-Wash Ceramic Car Wash is a car wash soap designed to clean and maintain ceramic coated vehicles. Formulated with Si02 and fluoropolymers, it repels contamination from ceramic coated vehicles. Used on a regular basis, it will extend the lifespan of ceramic coatings.

Standard car wash soaps do not contain Si02 or fluoropolymers and are not formulated to repel contamination from ceramic coated vehicles. Used on a regular basis, M-Wash maintains ceramic coatings and extends
their lifespan. Standard car wash soaps can be used to clean a ceramic coated vehicle but they don't add extra protection or have the same ability to repel environmental contamination.
Opti-Coat M-Wash is a car wash soap. Opti-Coat No Rinse and Optimum No Rinse™ & Shine are rinseless car washes. M-Wash should be rinsed from the vehicle after washing and before drying. Rinseless washes do not require rinsing before drying.
Yes! Opti-Coat M-Wash can be used on uncoated vehicles however it shouldn't be used before preparing surfaces for polishing, paint correction, wax, sealant, or ceramic coating application.
Use Optimum Car Wash or the original blue Optimum No Rinse™ Wash & Shine in these scenarios. Opti-Coat M-Wash is designed to maintain vehicles that are already ceramic coated.
It can be used to clean all types of vehicles including cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, boats, RVs, ATVs, or airplanes.
No! Instead, use products like Opti-Coat No Rinse, Optimum No Rinse™ Wash & Shine, and Optimum Waterless Wash that are better suited for interior use. Unlike Opti-Coat M-Wash, they don't require rinsing and are safe for all interior surfaces.
Yes! Opti-Coat M-Wash is safe for use on all vehicle surfaces including ceramic coatings, matte paint and PPF.
No! Instead use Optimum No Rinse™ Wash Shine or Optimum Car Wash. Opti-Coat M-Wash leaves Si02 and fluoropolymers on the surface. The protection left behind by Opti-Coat M-Wash can interfere with the bonding of ceramic coatings, waxes and sealants. Opti-Coat M-Wash should be used on cars that are already ceramic coated or on vehicles not being prepped for a protection product.
Yes! Opti-Coat M-Wash is the ideal maintenance solution for ALL types and brands of ceramic coatings.

For orders with free shipping, we determine whether to use a courier service or Australia Post based on the address. If you prefer your order to be shipped via Australia Post, please select the "Parcel Post" option at checkout.
Note: We do not ship to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers with free shipping.
If your parcel is returned to us, the following conditions outline when additional shipping costs may apply:
*We will not be held responsible for delays or late delivery of Australia Post or courier services.
*If a parcel does not arrive as anticipated, please allow 5-7 working days for Australia Post or couriers to complete process of tracking and locating as in most cases it turns up after 3-7 days of expected delivery. We cannot refund or send another item until this process is completed.
*We don't take responsibility for orders that are lost or stolen once the parcel has been delivered to the correct delivery address.
*Items that are over 21kg may require to pay extra freight costs if in regional or remote areas - we will contact you if this is the case.

At The Detailing Shed, we’re committed to supplying premium-grade car care products. Due to the nature of many of our items, particularly chemicals, our return policy has recently been updated. Please review the following carefully before submitting a return or refund request.
Due to safety and quality control, we do not accept returns on the following items:
Unused and unopened accessories such as brushes, pads, and towels may be eligible for return, pending approval by our customer service team. Email us at info@detailingshed.com.au with your order number and photos of the item(s) to request approval.
Yes, we accept exchanges. If you ordered the incorrect product and need to get something else, send it back under the returns policy and make a separate purchase for the new item.
You may cancel your order if it hasn't yet been processed or shipped. Please note that a 3% transaction fee will be deducted from your refund. The remaining amount will be returned to your original payment method.
Once your order has been processed or dispatched, cancellations are no longer possible. However, you can still return the items in line with our Returns Policy.
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please notify us within 10 days of delivery. Send an email to info@detailingshed.com.au with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We’ll work quickly to arrange a replacement or refund if stock is unavailable.
If you're returning an item valued over $50, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for returned items that are lost in transit.
If an item hasn’t arrived, please allow 7–15 business days after Australia Post or the courier begins their investigation. We’ll notify you once your case is resolved and any refund or replacement is processed.
Please note: Product packaging or colours may vary from online images due to manufacturer updates. Refunds will not be issued for these variations unless the product is faulty or incorrect.
Discount codes must be applied at checkout and cannot be added to an existing order. We are unable to apply discount codes or refund the difference once an order is processed. Please ensure any promotional codes are entered correctly before completing your purchase. If you experience any issues applying a code, feel free to contact us before finalising your order.
