Wash your vehicle from the top down and rinse often, to avoid contaminating with your wash mitt or sponge. The bottom of the car is the dirtiest, by far, so save it for last. After you wash, dry your car with two / three towels. Make sure the bottom of your car you use a separate MF towel.
