Directions:

1. Shake the bottle.
2. You can cover the surface with Brake Buster by spraying it everywhere on the RIM. We recommend that you spray as needed and spread it with a small sponge to cover the entire surface. Evenly cover the surfaces you wish to clean. The product is strong so you don’t have to be wasteful. Just make sure it contacts the entire surface.
3. Allow the product to dwell for 30 to 60 seconds. (Up to 2 minutes) in the shade. Do not allow it to dry in the sun.
4. Lightly brush and wash Rims as required.
5. Note: Can also be diluted  5:1.. If used weekly you may also dilute 10:1.

During the use of your vehicle, brake dust and road grime become sintered to the surface of the paint, rims, and wheels due to the high temperatures they are exposed to. On darker coloured paints everything is happening in exactly the same way. It’s simply more difficult for you to view the colour changing effect.
4. After allowing to dwell take a damp (not soaked) Paint safe Mitt or sponge (or other media if you prefer) and agitate the surface
5. Thoroughly rinse the surface.

 Iron X Facts and Frequently Asked Questions:

How iron particles appear on your car surface and where? 

Iron particles are all around us, and of course on our cars after travelling. They can be made from your car braking, driving near other cars, big trucks, train rails, industrial zones etc. They adhere to the car surface and once they "stick" to your paint due to there sharp edges together with sunshine they start to bake into the soft car paint where they oxidize and rust.

How to prevent iron dust from etching your paint?

It’s almost impossible to prevent the irons to stick on the surface, but it has been proven that inorganic coatings (CQuartz) has a self-cleaning effect and can reduce the quantity of iron that adheres to the surface. 

Is Iron X pH Neutral?

Yes

Why does it change colour?

With Iron X it is due to chemical reaction between the chemicals and iron.  Some other products change colours as well. There are very cheap chemicals other companies use that change their character simply by contact with air or iron but have zero to little dissolving power.

Why do you use fully plastic spray heads?

Iron X would react with normal triggers with metal springs inside.

Will Iron X stain chrome wheels or chrome trims?

No, it’s completely safe to use on any chrome wheels, trim, or bare aluminium wheels.

Will Iron X discolour wheel weights?

Yes, it will. Wheel weights are made from lead, Iron X will change the lead colour to green. However light agitation will recover the original colour.

Will Iron X affect brake calipers?

For most high-end calipers, it will not affect them however it can affect the paint colour of low quality acrylic painted calipers. For this reason, we advise you to be careful near calipers if unsure of the finish or type of paint.

Will Iron X remove wax from car paint? 

Yes, if it’s a highly organic oil type it will affect the wax properties. If it’s a synthetic polymer sealant it won’t affect it much. On CarPro Sealants, Cquartz coatings, or other true coatings it won’t affect them at all.  In fact, it is designed for use on coatings as well.

Does Iron X remove tar spots as well?

No, Iron X reacts only with iron particles.

Is Iron X safe to use on 3M and Paint Protection Film?

Yes, there is no problem at all using it on a clear bra and modern PPF when used properly.

Why does it smell so bad?

This is the nature of the chemical used, you cannot avoid this. If it doesn’t smell so strong it means it has a very little effect on iron or is a very diluted or inferior formula.

Why does Iron X have low viscosity?

If you make the product too thick it will not react well to iron particles due to the thickener additives. If you make it too thin there will only be a short reaction time, which will leave some iron behind. With Iron X we have found the sweet spot between these two variables to create the most potent but safe iron fallout remover on the market.

Can I leave Iron X to dry on the surface?

Yes, Iron X could dry on the surface of a modern gloss clear coat paint system as long as you wash it off, but do not let it dry on the surface when under direct sun. Even if it drys up don't worry, wipe it off. If it stains, just clean it with any polish.

It is not acid base.

Tyre Brush

Preparation for Application On Plastic:

• Make sure the surface is cool and dry. (Do not apply to hot surfaces or in direct sun.)
• Scrub surface with an all-purpose cleaner and microfiber towel
• Rinse while agitating with a microfiber towel to remove all residue from APC
• Dry surface
• Wipe surface with Carpro Eraser, wipe dry, and then allow the plastic to evaporate 20 minutes before applying

Directions for Plastic:

• Wet the applicator with a strip of DLUX and spread evenly across a small area at a time.
• When applying it is VERY important to work one area in even as you go. 
• Start in one corner and work out! / Do not take on a huge area at once. 
• Apply nice and even as you go. Do not try to spread too thin but be sure to work it to an even coat in the first minute before moving to the next overlapping area. After a minute you should not be going back over an area that was applied.
• On Textured trim do not wipe it off, just be sure you apply evenly as mentioned.
• On smooth plastic, you should wipe it off before it becomes too sticky. This results in a thinner coat that doesn’t last as long but on some smooth plastics, there is not an easy way to apply it evenly.

Directions for Paint and Chrome:

• Wash thoroughly
• Decontaminate with Iron X 
• Polish surface as needed
• Wipedown with CarPro Eraser
• On rims (metal, chrome, clear coat, etc) let cure 5 to 10 minute

Full Cure:

• To reach maximum performance coated surface must not see rain for 24 hours after application
• If the coated surface comes into contact with water during the first 24 hours it must be dried immediately 
• Do not drive the car for at least 6 hours after application 
• After 6 hours CarPro Reload can be applied to help protect the coating as it hardens and cures
• If the car can be parked in direct sunlight after application this will aid in curing the coating and reaching maximum performance sooner

GTECHNIQ W8 BUG REMOVER

Gtechniq W8 Bug Remover will remove nasty bug splatter safely and easily! It can help dissolve bugs and other contaminants that often cling to the front bumper and lower panels.

The issue with bug splatter is that they are acidic and within minutes they can actually etch into the paint by eating through the clear coat. The key to avoiding any additional work and/or polishing, is to clean the surface as soon as possible.

Instructions:

• Shake bottle well before use and wear gloves

• Use out of direct sunlight
• If your car is heavily soiled spray product directly onto tar spots, or if less soiled, spray onto an  Microfiber Buff Cloth and gently wipe the affected area
• Allow to dwell for 1-2 minutes
• Rinse and repeat if necessary
• IMPORTANT: Do not allow W7 to come into contact with plastics, rubber or vinyl – wipe any overspray immediately. It is not suitable for use on PPF, smart repairs or wrapped vehicles
• Store in a cool, dry place
• Use within 12 months of opening

Directions

• To use any Wheel Woolie, spray the wheel with the wheel cleaner of your choice. We use and recommend P&S BrakeBuster
• Then dip the Wheel Woolie into wash water and agitate the wheel.
• Rinse each wheel and dry it with a soft towel to avoid spotting.

After use, give the Wheel Woolie a good rinse and shake out the excess water. Leave to dry and store away. Wheel Woolies in the video below are over 4 years old. (Photo is the new Black/Red style)

Our patented design utilizes the motion of your hand to engage the Dirt Lock's turbine induction system. Once you pulse your hand in the bucket, the water is dramatically sped up by the shape of the jet turbine. The Dirt is then forced through hundreds of tapered Venturi funnels and is further sped up, blasting debris to the bottom of the bucket and out of harms way. Only fresh, clean water returns up the side of the dirt-lock through the fresh water troughs. Any small particles that made it through the openings hit the tumbler system and are pushed back down to the bottom of the pail. In short, every time you pump your hand in the bucket the water is automatically filtered and cleaned by the Dirt Lock.
