The Detail Guardz Dirt Lock will help you avoid adding ugly imperfections into your paint during the wash process! Surface imperfections like swirls and fine scratches often come from the washing process, so it is very important to minimize risks whenever possible. When washing your vehicle, you glide your wash mitt across the soapy surface and dunk it into your rinse bucket after each panel. With the Dirt Lock at the bottom of the bucket, you can pulse your hand to help remove dirt and grime from your wash media and help trap it on the bottom of the bucket. The key is in the patented jet turbine design of the Dirt Lock, which helps speed up and push dirt and grime to the bottom of the bucket. The dirt is forced through hundreds of tapered Venturi funnels to the bottom of the bucket and out of harm's way. Only fresh, clean water returns up the side of the dirt lock through the freshwater troughs. Any small particles that made it through the openings hit the tumbler system and are pushed back down to the bottom of the pail. This simply means that clean water is at the top and the dirt and grime are filtered and trapped at the bottom of the bucket!

The special seal off curtain edge forms a nice tight bond with the outer edge of the bucket so contaminants cannot escape on the outside edge. Trapping contaminants at the bottom keeps your washing safe and ensuring your paint looks great. It has retractable finger grips so you can easily grab the Dirt Lock placing it in your bucket or removing it. The flexible legs position it perfectly at the bottom of your bucket and lock the unit in place.

*If a parcel does not arrive as anticipated, please allow 5-7 working days for Australia Post or couriers to complete process of tracking and locating as in most cases it turns up after 3-7 days of expected delivery. We cannot refund or send another item until this process is completed.
*We don't take responsibility for orders that are lost or stolen once the parcel has been delivered to the correct delivery address.
*Items that are over 21kg may require to pay extra freight costs if in regional or remote areas - we will contact you if this is the case.

How do I submit a return request?
To set up a return, please email info@detailingshed.com.au first for approval. You must provide your order number and the items you want to return. After you have contacted us and we review your return request, we will assign you an authorisation number.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund and deduct any restocking fees. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3 days.
If you are shipping an item over $50, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned items if you have not followed this process.
Late or missing items (if applicable)
If an item has not been delivered yet, please allow 7-15 working days after Australia Post or courier has started process of tracking and locating parcel before we can refund or send out another item. We will notify you by email once you have been refunded.
Packaging and Colour Discrepancies
Product packaging received may differ from the images displayed online and could be updated or have variations. Slight differences in colour may exist between the images advertised online and the physical product. In some instances, manufacturers may change the original colour of the product. We maintain the discretion to decline refund requests arising from variations in colour of the product and packaging.
