The short version: the iGen4750PRO and the iGen7500PRO each run one machine at a time. The iGen10000PRO is the only model in the range we rate for a compressor and a pressure washer running together. If two machines at once is how your van works, that is the one.
Whichever model you choose, the outlet is the same 240V 15 amp IP66 socket, behind the same RCD safety switch, and a 10 amp plug fits it. Your leads and your machines plug in identically across the range. The iGen7500PRO and iGen10000PRO also carry a 32 amp socket, and both come with a 32 to 15 amp adaptor in the box, which turns it into a second standard 15 amp outlet. Almost nobody in a detailing van has any reason to use the 32 amp socket directly, and you never need to buy a special lead.
So the outlets are not the thing that separates these three generators. Capacity is.
In Australia a machine is either a 10 amp or a 15 amp machine. There is nothing in between. So a 15 amp Kranzle running alongside a 10 amp compressor needs 25 amps of supply, which is the iGen7500PRO's entire rating with nothing left over.
Running current is not what decides it. Starting current is. Pressure washers and compressors use induction motors, and an induction motor pulls a large surge for the moment it starts, several times its running current. A total stop pressure washer restarts every single time you pull the trigger. A compressor cuts in on its own pressure switch whenever tank pressure drops, without asking you first. So those surges are not a one off at the start of the day, they happen constantly, and each one lands on a generator that is already carrying the other machine.

That spare capacity on the iGen10000PRO is the whole argument. It is not that the 7500PRO is a weak generator, it is that a 15 amp machine and a 10 amp machine together account for every amp it makes, before a single motor has even started.
Generator marketing talks in watts. Australian equipment is sold in amps. Mixing the two is how people end up with a generator that trips out halfway through a job.
Not everything you own, only what runs together. A pressure washer and a compressor running at once is two machines. A pressure washer, then a blower afterwards, is one. If the answer is two, you are looking at the iGen10000PRO and the rest of this is confirmation.
Australian machines come as 10 amp or 15 amp. Add the ratings of whatever runs at the same time. Two 10 amp machines is 20 amps. A 15 amp machine and a 10 amp machine is 25 amps.

Because of starting surge, a generator sized so the numbers just fit is a generator that trips. For a single machine, any of the three models has plenty in hand. For two machines running together, only the iGen10000PRO has enough left over to absorb a motor starting on top of an existing load.
They are the same thing at 240 volts, since watts equals volts times amps. But you use them for two different jobs.
Work the sockets in amps. A 15 amp outlet carries 15 amps and no more, whatever the generator behind it is rated at. That limit has nothing to do with generator size, and it is why the iGen4750PRO with its single socket is a one machine unit.
Work the headroom in watts, and allow 2.5 times. An induction motor pulls far more than its rated power for the moment it starts. The accepted rule for sizing a generator is to allow two and a half times the motor's rating for that surge. A 1.8 kW pressure washer motor therefore needs around 4,500 watts available to start, not 1,800.
That is what the starting watts figure on a generator is for.
One exception worth knowing. An air compressor that starts against tank pressure, meaning it has no unloader valve or the valve has failed, is a much harder start than a pressure washer. Allow three times for those. On a 1.86 kW compressor that is 5,580 watts rather than 4,650, which puts it beyond the iGen4750PRO. If your compressor does not vent its head pressure when it stops, size on 3x.

Worth knowing before you buy: the Kranzle K1152TST is the one machine in our range the iGen4750PRO will not comfortably start. At 2.8 kW intake it needs around 7,000 watts on the 2.5 times rule, and the iGen4750PRO supplies 4,750. If that is your washer, start at the iGen7500PRO.
When a second machine starts while the first is already running, the generator has to supply the first machine's running load plus two and a half times the second machine's rating, at the same instant.

On the iGen7500PRO that leaves about a thousand watts and no spare socket capacity at all, which is not enough margin to rely on when a total stop washer restarts on every trigger pull. On the iGen10000PRO it leaves three and a half thousand watts. That is why we rate the iGen10000PRO for two machines and the iGen7500PRO for one.
A 10 amp machine is the easiest kind of load for a generator to carry. It leaves more capacity in reserve for the surge each motor pulls when it starts, so the engine works less, the fuel lasts longer and nothing trips.

Simplest pairing: a 10 amp machine on the iGen4750PRO covers most mobile detailing, and the BigBoi WashR Tradie is the easiest of the lot on a generator. Step to the iGen7500PRO if you want that same machine barely loading the engine all day, and to the iGen10000PRO only when a compressor and a washer have to run together.

A cheap open frame generator and one of these both make 240 volts. The difference is what that 240 volts looks like, what protects you from it, and what happens after a hundred jobs.

That last row is worth more than it looks. A generator that cannot be serviced is a generator you replace, and a mobile detailer whose generator is out of action is not working that week. The specification transparency matters for the same reason: every figure on this page comes from the manufacturer's published spec sheet, including the unflattering ones like full load noise and wet weight.
Carbon monoxide: Petrol generators produce carbon monoxide, which has no smell and no colour. Run the generator outdoors in open air, well away from doors, windows and the vehicle you are working in. This is the single most important rule of operating one.
The iGen10000PRO. It is the only model in the range we rate for two machines. A 15 amp Kranzle at 11 amps and a 10 amp compressor is 21 amps against a 34.2 amp continuous rating, leaving 13 amps of headroom to absorb the surge when either motor starts. The iGen4750PRO and iGen7500PRO are one machine generators.
Because running current is not the whole load. Induction motors draw several times their running current for the moment they start, a total stop washer restarts on every trigger pull, and a compressor cuts in whenever tank pressure drops. At 21 amps of running load the iGen7500PRO has about four amps in hand, which is not enough to absorb that surge reliably.
The PRO models have an integrated RCD safety switch approved for workplace use, along with IP66 rated outlets. Standard iGen models do not. If the generator is being used for paid work, that is the range to be looking at.
No. The iGen7500PRO and iGen10000PRO come with a 32 to 15 amp adaptor in the box, so the 32 amp socket becomes a standard 15 amp outlet and everything plugs in with ordinary 15 amp plugs.
Yes. Every PRO model uses the same 240V 15 amp IP66 socket behind the same RCD safety switch, and a 10 amp plug fits a 15 amp socket. Your leads and machines work identically on any of them. What changes is how many outlets there are and how much capacity sits behind them.
Yes. The 15 amp KHD10/122 TST draws 11 amps from a 1.8 kW motor, so all three PRO models have the capacity for it as a single machine. What decides the model is whether anything else runs at the same time.
Reserve, run time and portability trade-offs. A 15 amp Kranzle uses under half the iGen7500PRO's capacity, so the engine never works hard, which means less noise, less fuel and less wear. You also get a bigger tank and a second 15 amp outlet for lights and chargers. The iGen4750PRO's advantage is that it is 24 kg lighter and $1,000 less.
57 to 58 dB(A) at quarter load and 67 to 68 dB(A) at full load, measured at 7 metres. Under a working pressure washer, expect something between those figures. They are inverter units with variable engine speed, so they are meaningfully quieter than a fixed speed open frame generator of the same output.
Not by connecting it to your switchboard yourself. These units are not suitable for connection to a fixed multiple earthed neutral installation and are designed for standalone plug and socket use. A licensed electrician and the correct changeover equipment are required for any connection to fixed wiring.
Unleaded petrol, 91, 95 or 98 RON. Ethanol blends such as E10 are not recommended by the manufacturer.

Simplest pairing: a 10 amp machine on the iGen4750PRO covers most mobile detailing, and the BigBoi WashR Tradie is the easiest of the lot on a generator. Step to the iGen7500PRO if you want that same machine barely loading the engine all day, and to the iGen10000PRO only when a compressor and a washer have to run together.

A cheap open frame generator and one of these both make 240 volts. The difference is what that 240 volts looks like, what protects you from it, and what happens after a hundred jobs.

That last row is worth more than it looks. A generator that cannot be serviced is a generator you replace, and a mobile detailer whose generator is out of action is not working that week. The specification transparency matters for the same reason: every figure on this page comes from the manufacturer's published spec sheet, including the unflattering ones like full load noise and wet weight.
Carbon monoxide: Petrol generators produce carbon monoxide, which has no smell and no colour. Run the generator outdoors in open air, well away from doors, windows and the vehicle you are working in. This is the single most important rule of operating one.
The iGen10000PRO. It is the only model in the range we rate for two machines. A 15 amp Kranzle at 11 amps and a 10 amp compressor is 21 amps against a 34.2 amp continuous rating, leaving 13 amps of headroom to absorb the surge when either motor starts. The iGen4750PRO and iGen7500PRO are one machine generators.
Because running current is not the whole load. Induction motors draw several times their running current for the moment they start, a total stop washer restarts on every trigger pull, and a compressor cuts in whenever tank pressure drops. At 21 amps of running load the iGen7500PRO has about four amps in hand, which is not enough to absorb that surge reliably.
The PRO models have an integrated RCD safety switch approved for workplace use, along with IP66 rated outlets. Standard iGen models do not. If the generator is being used for paid work, that is the range to be looking at.
No. The iGen7500PRO and iGen10000PRO come with a 32 to 15 amp adaptor in the box, so the 32 amp socket becomes a standard 15 amp outlet and everything plugs in with ordinary 15 amp plugs.
Yes. Every PRO model uses the same 240V 15 amp IP66 socket behind the same RCD safety switch, and a 10 amp plug fits a 15 amp socket. Your leads and machines work identically on any of them. What changes is how many outlets there are and how much capacity sits behind them.
Yes. The 15 amp KHD10/122 TST draws 11 amps from a 1.8 kW motor, so all three PRO models have the capacity for it as a single machine. What decides the model is whether anything else runs at the same time.
Reserve, run time and portability trade-offs. A 15 amp Kranzle uses under half the iGen7500PRO's capacity, so the engine never works hard, which means less noise, less fuel and less wear. You also get a bigger tank and a second 15 amp outlet for lights and chargers. The iGen4750PRO's advantage is that it is 24 kg lighter and $1,000 less.
57 to 58 dB(A) at quarter load and 67 to 68 dB(A) at full load, measured at 7 metres. Under a working pressure washer, expect something between those figures. They are inverter units with variable engine speed, so they are meaningfully quieter than a fixed speed open frame generator of the same output.
Not by connecting it to your switchboard yourself. These units are not suitable for connection to a fixed multiple earthed neutral installation and are designed for standalone plug and socket use. A licensed electrician and the correct changeover equipment are required for any connection to fixed wiring.
Unleaded petrol, 91, 95 or 98 RON. Ethanol blends such as E10 are not recommended by the manufacturer.
