The Westinghouse iGen7500PRO is the one machine generator with room to spare. 6,000 running watts and 25 amps continuous mean a 15 amp machine or a 10 amp compressor never comes close to loading it, so the engine sits quiet, the fuel lasts, and a hard working machine that restarts on every trigger pull has plenty of headroom behind it. It also gives you a second 15 amp outlet, using the 32 to 15 amp adaptor supplied in the box, and a 15 litre tank. Like the iGen4750PRO, we rate it for one machine at a time. If you need a compressor and a pressure washer running together, that is the iGen10000PRO.
In Australia a machine is either a 10 amp or a 15 amp machine. A 15 amp Kranzle plus a 10 amp compressor needs 25 amps of supply, which is this generator's entire rating with nothing left over. Two 10 amp machines is 20 amps, which leaves five. Neither is enough.
Pressure washers and compressors use induction motors, and an induction motor draws a large surge for the moment it starts. The accepted rule is to allow two and a half times the motor's rating to get it turning, or three times for a compressor that starts against tank pressure. A total stop pressure washer restarts every single time you pull the trigger, and a compressor cuts in and out on its pressure switch without asking you first. When one of those kicks in on top of the other already running, the surge lands on a generator that is already loaded. That is where units trip.
So we rate this generator for one machine at a time, the same as the iGen4750PRO. What the extra capacity buys you is not a second machine, it is a machine that never works the generator hard. Only the iGen10000PRO has enough spare capacity to absorb a second motor starting while the first is running.
Australian machines are either 10 amp or 15 amp. Percentages are against this generator's 25 amp continuous rating.

| Compressor plus pressure washer together | 20 to 25 A of supply | Not rated for it, use the iGen10000PRO |
Nobody plugs a 32 amp lead into a detailing van, and you do not need to. The 15 amp socket takes a standard plug straight in, and the 32 to 15 amp adaptor supplied in the box turns the 32 amp socket into a second standard 15 amp outlet. Two normal plugs, no special leads to buy. That second outlet is for lights, chargers and small equipment alongside your machine, not for a second motor load.
Before you order: Petrol generators must be run outdoors in open air. Never run one inside a van, trailer, garage or any enclosed space, and keep the exhaust away from open doors and windows. Carbon monoxide is odourless.
This generator is not suitable for connection to a fixed multiple earthed neutral (MEN) electrical installation. It is designed for standalone plug and socket use. Any connection to a building's wiring must be done by a licensed electrician with the correct changeover equipment.

We do not rate it for that. A 15 amp washer and a 10 amp compressor need 25 amps of supply, which is this generator's entire rating. Worse, starting the compressor while the washer runs calls for the washer's 1,800 watts plus two and a half times the compressor's 1.86 kW, about 6,450 watts against 7,500 available. A total stop washer restarts on every trigger pull and a compressor cuts in on its own pressure switch, so those surges are constant. The iGen10000PRO is the model rated for two machines.
Reserve. A 15 amp machine uses 15 of this generator's 25 amps and a 10 amp machine only 10, so the engine is never working hard, which means less noise, less fuel and less wear over a working life. You also get a bigger tank, a longer run time and a second 15 amp outlet for lights, chargers and small equipment.
Yes. In Australia a 10 amp plug fits a 15 amp socket, because the 15 amp socket has a larger earth pin opening. So a 10 amp Kranzle, a BigBoi blower or a 10 amp compressor plugs straight in with no adaptor. The reverse is not true, which is why a 15 amp machine cannot be plugged into a 10 amp point.
No. A 32 to 15 amp adaptor comes in the box, so the 32 amp socket becomes a standard 15 amp outlet and you use ordinary plugs on both. Almost nobody running a detailing van has any reason to use the 32 amp socket directly.
Both are rated 57 dB(A) at quarter load and 67 dB(A) at full load, measured at 7 metres. The larger engine runs to a lower maximum speed, 4,000 rpm against 4,500 rpm, and the ECO throttle drops engine speed when the load is light. Running one machine on this unit keeps you nearer the quiet end of that range.
It has wheels and an extendable handle, so wheeling it around a job is straightforward. Lifting is another matter at 60 kg dry and 73 kg with oil and fuel. Plan on a ramp, a tail lift or a second person for loading.
Electronic overload protection cuts the output and lights the overload indicator. You reduce the load and press the reset button. It is a controlled shutdown rather than damage, but repeatedly pushing any generator to its limit is hard on it.
Yes. Digital inverter control gives pure sine wave output with less than 2.5% total harmonic distortion, which is the same quality of waveform as mains power.
Wireless remote control, 32 to 15 amp adaptor, plug-in battery charger, extendable handle and wheels, engine oil and the standard accessory kit. No assembly required beyond oil and petrol.
Equipment suitability above is general guidance based on the manufacturer's published supply requirements for each machine, not a performance guarantee. Actual results depend on your equipment, lead length and condition, ambient temperature, altitude and how continuously you run the load.
