Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light is an excellent stand-alone coating offering unparalleled gloss and gloss retention through its superb resistance to wash swirls.

However, its water repellency falls short of what EXO has to offer. Therefore, if you want the best for your car – remarkable swirl resistance and water repellency, then this kit is definitely for you.

Gtechniq CSL Crystal Serum Light offers 80% of the Professional Crystal Serum Ultra's performance, but if applied incorrectly can be machine polished from your vehicle’s paintwork.

When it comes to adding gloss, resisting swirls, contaminant and dirt repellency, Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra and Crystal Serum Light are the pinnacle in paint protection.

Gtechniq CSL Crystal Serum Light forms an ultra-durable, high-gloss, slick to the touch, chemically bonding inorganic layer of 9h optically clear ceramic.

Once applied, gloss levels will remain in the upper 90th percentile for significantly longer when compared to traditional paint protection products, and cleaning your car will be a breeze.

Gtechniq EXOv4 is an ultra-durable hydrophobic paint coating that offers slickness and produces a high-gloss, warm-looking, extreme hydrophobic finish.

Gtechniq EXOv4 delivers a hard film that makes water-spots easy to remove, offers great resistance to all wash chemicals and can help withstand micro-marring. 

The film delivered by EXOv4 is consistent which is more durable and resistant to road salt and wash chemicals than its predecessors.

Application is even easier now also with a slow flash-off time, giving more time to achieve the perfect finish. To top it off EXO has a good degree of swirl resistance.

Application of CSL:

• To apply Crystal Serum Light (CSL) make sure your vehicle is indoors and can stay indoors for 12 hours after application, do not apply in direct sunlight
• Only apply the product at a temperature between 5°c and 25°c
• Shake well and wear gloves
• Wash and decontaminate W6 Iron remover your paintwork thoroughly prior to application. If required, polish your paintwork, either by machine or hand, to remove any imperfections
• Spray Panel Wipe into a GTECHNIQ MF1 Microfibre Cloth and wipe down each panel in small sections
• Soak the application pad with 3 full measures of CSL from the pipette and work the liquid into the pad to get an even saturation
• Replace the lid on the bottle and set aside - do not keep the bottle in your hand as this promotes premature curing
• Apply in overlapping strokes to an area roughly 2ft by 2ft, or work to the bodylines of the vehicle
• Immediately remove residue with an MF1 cloth - you may need to buff the same area several times, but avoid doing it with too much force. We recommend the use of  2 cloths at any one time. Make sure the cloths are rotated during residue removal to prevent CSL curing in the cloth- this can make buffing residue difficult
• Inspect the surface for residue with a bright, diffused light source
• If you remove residue and it cureds fully you should polish the area and reapply CSL
• As soon as you finish, put you MF1 cloths in water, wash and dry them as soon as possible
• Wait approximately 2 hours after applying CSL to apply EXO Ultra Durable Hydrophobic Coating, or C2 Liquid Crystal
• Store in a cool, dry place
• Use within 3 months of opening

Instructions:

• EXO can be applied as a stand-alone sealant or as a top layer for Crystal Serum Light (CSL) or C1 Crystal Lacquer (recommended particularly for darker colours, easy to mark paintwork or if added swirl resistance and durability are required).
• Leave between 4 and 12 hours for C1 to cure before applying EXO
• Can be applied immediately over CSL (start at the same point and follow the panels in order). Do not leave CSL for longer than 24 hours if planning to apply EXO v5.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean and dry, and the paintwork is swirl-free and prepared with Panel Wipe (not necessary if applying over C1 / CSL).
• Ensure the panel is warmer than 5 degrees Celsius.
• Apply 5 – 10 drops of EXO to the supplied applicator and work the liquid into the pad to get an even saturation.
• Apply to the panel using overlapping strokes, working an area of around 60cm x 60cm at a time.
• If the panel is 15 degrees C or lower, allow EXO to cure for two minutes, then remove residue with a soft clean microfibre. For temperatures between 15 and 25 degrees C, allow one minute to elapse prior to buffing. For temperatures higher than 25 degrees, buff immediately.
• With a new microfibre, buff panels again to ensure all residue entirely removed.
• Apply a second layer of EXO immediately, to ensure ease of buffing
• Allow EXO to cure for a minimum of 12 hours prior to exposing it to rain.
• Allow at least 1 week before washing your vehicle.
