Just like automotive paint systems which have undergone major changes in technology, automotive leather and vinyl surfaces have also had some considerable improvements in the past decade. Nearly all automotive leather surfaces are treated with special chemicals to provide resistance to scratching and marring and increase durability and protection from weathering. The chemistry of vinyl surfaces has improved dramatically also, to give these surfaces a leather look and feel. The vinyl surfaces are also treated with similar chemicals as those used for automotive leather to increase their durability and optimum protection from weathering. Over a period of months, these protective chemicals are lost from the surface.
Optimum Protectant Plus cleans and replenishes these chemicals while adding UV protection. Most over-the-counter leather and vinyl protectants leave an oily film behind which gives them a glossy look and slick feel. Since these products are not absorbed into the surface, they last only a few days and act as a dust magnet. Optimum Protectant Plus will keep leather supple with a natural satin finish. It helps reduce cracking on leather and vinyl surfaces, as well as reducing scratching and marring. Protectant Plus penetrates and adheres to these surfaces, therefore it does not make them oily or slick and provides lasting protection.

*If a parcel does not arrive as anticipated, please allow 5-7 working days for Australia Post or couriers to complete process of tracking and locating as in most cases it turns up after 3-7 days of expected delivery. We cannot refund or send another item until this process is completed.
*We don't take responsibility for orders that are lost or stolen once the parcel has been delivered to the correct delivery address.
*Items that are over 21kg may require to pay extra freight costs if in regional or remote areas - we will contact you if this is the case.

How do I submit a return request?
To set up a return, please email info@detailingshed.com.au first for approval. You must provide your order number and the items you want to return. After you have contacted us and we review your return request, we will assign you an authorisation number.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund and deduct any restocking fees. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3 days.
If you are shipping an item over $50, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned items if you have not followed this process.
Late or missing items (if applicable)
If an item has not been delivered yet, please allow 7-15 working days after Australia Post or courier has started process of tracking and locating parcel before we can refund or send out another item. We will notify you by email once you have been refunded.
Packaging and Colour Discrepancies
Product packaging received may differ from the images displayed online and could be updated or have variations. Slight differences in colour may exist between the images advertised online and the physical product. In some instances, manufacturers may change the original colour of the product. We maintain the discretion to decline refund requests arising from variations in colour of the product and packaging.
