Gyeon Q2 Pure 30ml/50ml

Advanced quartz technology combined with user friendly characteristics

Pure quartz protection – thick, hard and extremely hydrophobic. Q² Pure brings the appearance of the paintwork to a new level, delivering pure candy gloss. Its thick formulation requires only one layer, making the application process quick and user-friendly.

EASY TO APPLY

Q² Pure and its simple, one layer application, makes it the technologically advanced and chemical resistant alternative for natural and synthetic protective products. It is a highly advanced product based on silicon dioxide (SiO2), which only requires a similar amount of technique and effort as a natural car wax to apply, even for a enthusiast. The Q² Pure kit includes an ergonomic applicator, which allows fast and effective application of the product.

GLOSS AND DURABILITY

Q² Pure combines two crucial qualities of a great coating – a very high level of gloss and extreme durability. While offering durable and highly chemical resistant protection against all types of environmental impact, fantastic depth and pure candy gloss are the main features of the coating. Q² Pure surprises with its glass-like-gloss, being a worthy rival to quality natural waxes.

FAQ's

Question:

Gyeon's coating offerings can be a little overwhelming, here's a simple breakdown:

CanCoat > One > Prime/Pure > Mohs > Syncro.

Pure and Mohs are the same price, are they the same?  Which should I choose? Pure is designed as a single layer coating (layering is also possible), it goes on slightly thicker than Mohs, but easier to remove.  Whereas Mohs requires at least 2 layers (max 3), also easy to apply and remove.  Durability, gloss and hydrophobicity for both are very on par, Pure is slightly more slick but Mohs can be more durable (base Mohs chemistry is also used in the certified Mohs+ regiment), however the above can be altered by layering Booster (Gyeon's most hydrophobic consumer level top coat).

What is Gyeon Syncro?  Is it the same as Mohs with Booster?  No.  Booster is a Fluorine (with slight Silica blend) based top coat vs the Skin's Silica based.  Booster chemically reacts with the base coat, completely adheres, or becomes a part of rather, to what's underneath, becoming a SiO2/Fluorine "blend" coat, as it borrow's the base coat's hardness, thus in theory making it a more durable product.  Because of the above, Booster can only be applied to "fresh" coatings, where it hasn't fully cured yet, as it won't react proper to fully cured coatings.  Whereas Skin is a physical layer that sits on top of the base coat.  Booster doesn't really increase the hardness much but adds additional self cleaning and hydrophobic effect.  This can be felt by hand, the surface will feel much slicker (to both Skin and Booster).  Application differs between the two also; Booster will evaporate very quickly, it won't leave a haze or a residue behind, where Skin will leave residue that can be buffed off easily.
