Return & Refund Policy
At The Detailing Shed, we’re committed to supplying premium-grade car care products. Due to the nature of many of our items, particularly chemicals, our return policy has recently been updated. Please review the following carefully before submitting a return or refund request.
GENERAL RETURN POLICY
- We only accept returns on unopened and unused items within 30 days of the delivery date.
- A 7% restocking fee applies to all approved returns.
- Return shipping is at the buyer’s expense. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Returns must be approved by our team before being sent back.
- Upon receiving and inspecting the return, we will process your refund to the original payment method within 3 business days (minus applicable fees).
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
- Due to safety and quality control, we do not accept returns on the following items:
- Chemicals or liquid products
- Kranzle
- Big Boi
- Flex Tools
- Apparel
- Pressure Washer Fittings
RETURNABLE ITEMS (WITH APPROVAL)
Unused and unopened accessories such as brushes, pads, and towels may be eligible for return, pending approval by our customer service team. Email us at info@detailingshed.com.au with your order number and photos of the item(s) to request approval.
DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please notify us within 10 days of delivery. Send an email to info@detailingshed.com.au with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We’ll work quickly to arrange a replacement or refund if stock is unavailable.
SHIPPING INSURANCE
If you're returning an item valued over $50, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for returned items that are lost in transit.
MISSING DELIVERIES
If an item hasn’t arrived, please allow 7–15 business days after Australia Post or the courier begins their investigation. We’ll notify you once your case is resolved and any refund or replacement is processed.
PACKAGING & COLOUR DISCLAIMER
Please note: Product packaging or colours may vary from online images due to manufacturer updates. Refunds will not be issued for these variations unless the product is faulty or incorrect.
