Our pressure washer hose storage plugs are one of the more popular products we have in the store, and for good reason. Not only do they look amazing, but they also serve a functional purpose - keeping the dribble from your pressure washer hose from dribbling. These are designed for 3/8" pressure washer hoses.
It used to be so frustrating after I rolled up my hose on my hose reel to see water dripping out of it later. If you didn’t know this already, a pressure washer hose will have water left inside it after use and drip all over the floor, especially if you have a hose reel.
1. I won’t have a puddle of water on my tile flooring, and
2. It looks cool.
This plug is made of 304 stainless steel, the most common form of stainless steel used worldwide.
304 can withstand corrosion from most oxidizing acids and is super durable. I like using the commercial-grade stuff in the garage.
The logo is laser-annealed on the plug, not etched. Laser annealing maintains the chromium-oxide layer on stainless steel, so the stainless steel doesn't start rusting; chromium-oxide is a micron-thin layer that protects it from rust. The laser-annealing process slowly heats the metal and changes its colour vs. blasting and etching it, which causes damage to the oxide layer.
I’m really happy with the redesign of this storage plug and think everyone should have at least two on hand.

For orders with free shipping, we determine whether to use a courier service or Australia Post based on the address. If you prefer your order to be shipped via Australia Post, please select the "Parcel Post" option at checkout.
Note: We do not ship to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers with free shipping.
If your parcel is returned to us, the following conditions outline when additional shipping costs may apply:
*We will not be held responsible for delays or late delivery of Australia Post or courier services.
*If a parcel does not arrive as anticipated, please allow 5-7 working days for Australia Post or couriers to complete process of tracking and locating as in most cases it turns up after 3-7 days of expected delivery. We cannot refund or send another item until this process is completed.
*We don't take responsibility for orders that are lost or stolen once the parcel has been delivered to the correct delivery address.
*Items that are over 21kg may require to pay extra freight costs if in regional or remote areas - we will contact you if this is the case.

Due to safety and quality control, we do not accept returns on the following items:
Unused and unopened accessories such as brushes, pads, and towels may be eligible for return, pending approval by our customer service team. Email us at info@detailingshed.com.au with your order number and photos of the item(s) to request approval.
Yes, we accept exchanges. If you ordered the incorrect product and need to get something else, send it back under the returns policy and make a separate purchase for the new item.
You may cancel your order if it hasn't yet been processed or shipped. Please note that a 3% transaction fee will be deducted from your refund. The remaining amount will be returned to your original payment method.
Once your order has been processed or dispatched, cancellations are no longer possible. However, you can still return the items in line with our Returns Policy.
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please notify us within 10 days of delivery. Send an email to info@detailingshed.com.au with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We’ll work quickly to arrange a replacement or refund if stock is unavailable.
If you're returning an item valued over $50, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for returned items that are lost in transit.
If an item hasn’t arrived, please allow 7–15 business days after Australia Post or the courier begins their investigation. We’ll notify you once your case is resolved and any refund or replacement is processed.
Please note: Product packaging or colours may vary from online images due to manufacturer updates. Refunds will not be issued for these variations unless the product is faulty or incorrect.
Discount codes must be applied at checkout and cannot be added to an existing order. We are unable to apply discount codes or refund the difference once an order is processed. Please ensure any promotional codes are entered correctly before completing your purchase. If you experience any issues applying a code, feel free to contact us before finalising your order.
