Unlike regular rain repellent coatings that adhere to the surface of the glass using relatively weak physical bonds, G1 uses a chemical bond which gives G1 unrivalled durability.
G1's excellent durability and exceptionally low smear characteristics make it ideal for car windscreens.
Note: that with glass coatings there is a trade off between durability and functionality. Whilst G1 is recommended for car windscreens, for surfaces such as shower screens, or marine glass where maximum repellency is required, it is better to use G5 Water Repellent Coating for Glass and Plexiglass.
Please also note that G1 will only work on glass substrates so, for example, it will not work on modern headlight lenses which are made from polycarbonate.

For orders with free shipping, we determine whether to use a courier service or Australia Post based on the address. If you prefer your order to be shipped via Australia Post, please select the "Parcel Post" option at checkout.
Note: We do not ship to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers with free shipping.
If your parcel is returned to us, the following conditions outline when additional shipping costs may apply:
*We will not be held responsible for delays or late delivery of Australia Post or courier services.
*If a parcel does not arrive as anticipated, please allow 5-7 working days for Australia Post or couriers to complete process of tracking and locating as in most cases it turns up after 3-7 days of expected delivery. We cannot refund or send another item until this process is completed.
*We don't take responsibility for orders that are lost or stolen once the parcel has been delivered to the correct delivery address.
*Items that are over 21kg may require to pay extra freight costs if in regional or remote areas - we will contact you if this is the case.

Orders can be cancelled before they have been processed or dispatched.
Approved cancellations will be refunded to the original payment method less a 3% payment processing fee.
Once an order has been processed or shipped, it can no longer be cancelled. However, eligible items may still be returned under our Change of Mind Returns policy.

"Having applied G1 on multiple vehicles, the durability and water repellency are excellent. Most noticeable are on speeds of 80km+ where the water just flies off the windshield and there’s no need for the wiper blades. Otherwise, on low speeds G1 beads extremely well. My only suggestion is that it’s best to work in sections during application as it can be tricky to buff off with the 2nd step G2 residue remover."

"This is an excellent product, it works exactly as described and I would recommend it for anyone willing to do the prep work and spend the time with the install, following the instructions closely. I did 2 cars with the fluid available, however I would recommend purchasing GTechniq applicators (they're very cheap). The only part I found difficult was one of the later steps of using the residue remover - the G1 compound has some serious bondage to the windscreen, I was much more aware and found it easier going with the second car, but as the instructions state, working in small areas is key. I cannot comment on the longevity of the product as of yet, but given the wet weather in Sydney lately I can say it is very effective! In the morning, there are beads on all my windows and the roll off as I start driving. If it's raining, the vision is a lot clearer than normal without even using the wipers, and once you hit 70km/h, I use the wipers on the low intermittent setting just to clear the droplets. Incredible. There is so much more visibility in the rain, and the windows are noticeably cleaner day-to-day."
