The ARMOUR Quartz DIY Ceramic Coating 3+ Years Kit pairs ARMOUR's most user-friendly coating with the exact prep chemicals and levelling cloths it needs to bond, flash and cure properly. Choose your coating size, 30ml or 50ml, and you are set for 3+ years of real world, single layer protection.
Step 1. Wash and decontaminate. Wash the vehicle first. Working on a clean, cool panel out of direct sunlight, spray ARMOUR IRON Remover onto the surface and let it react for 3 to 5 minutes as it changes colour. Keep it wet with mists of water so it never dries, then rinse thoroughly with a strong stream of water. Follow with a clay bar or clay mitt (not included) if embedded contamination remains.
Step 2. Panel wipe. Spray ARMOUR Panel Prep evenly over the surface and let it dwell for 15 to 30 seconds to dissolve oils. Wipe with a Maxshine cloth until clear, then do a final wipe with a fresh cloth. Repeat until all oils and residue are removed. If you did not polish the paint, panel prep twice.
Step 3. Apply the coating. Prime the applicator with 3 lines of ARMOUR Quartz; each later application needs only a small amount. Coat 1 to 2 panels at a time: create an X pattern, box in the edges, then follow through with small overlapping circles for even, level coverage. Allow 1 to 5 minutes for the coating to set up (generally 2 to 3), watching for uniform small sweat beads to appear.
Step 4. Level in two stages. With a first Maxshine cloth, level the coating 95% or more using smooth circular motions. A slight grab is normal, but if the coating smears it needs more time, and if it is very hard to remove it needs less. Switch to a fresh cloth for final levelling, check each panel for streaks or high spots, and rotate to a fresh cloth side every second panel.
Step 5. Cure. Allow a minimum of 12 hours for the initial cure, after which the vehicle can be driven and get wet. Do not wash or expose to chemicals for 7 days.
Pro tip: ARMOUR Quartz is designed as a single layer coating, but if you want extra depth you can add another layer after 1 to 2 hours. ARMOUR AMPLIFY or Ceramic Spray Sealant can be applied after 4 hours to protect the coating during its initial cure.

*We will not be held responsible for delays or late delivery of Australia Post or courier services.
*If a parcel does not arrive as anticipated, please allow 5-7 working days for Australia Post or couriers to complete process of tracking and locating as in most cases it turns up after 3-7 days of expected delivery. We cannot refund or send another item until this process is completed.
*We don't take responsibility for orders that are lost or stolen once the parcel has been delivered to the correct delivery address.
*Items that are over 21kg may require to pay extra freight costs if in regional or remote areas - we will contact you if this is the case.

Approved cancellations will be refunded to the original payment method less a 3% payment processing fee.
