Buff and Shine 100% Twisted Wool Cutting Pad 7.5" Inch

Buff & Shine’s 7.5 Inch 100% Twisted Wool Cutting Pad has what it takes to restore oxidized on gel coat, heavily scratched paint, aluminium, diamond plate and more!

Simply attach to any 6 inches or 7 Inch backing plate on a rotary Polisher.

The 7.5 inch size is the sweet spot between too big and too small.

The secret to the immense cutting ability of this wool pad lies in its unique construction.

Made using 100% wool twisted into hundreds of individual strands, the twisted design allows the pad to operate at a consistent level of aggressiveness for longer periods. This unique design also makes for a rugged pad that can withstand extended polishing sessions.

The pad has a diameter of 7.5 inches but the thick pile gives it an overall diameter of 8 inches. The Buff & Shine Wool Cutting Pad is intended for severe swirls, scratches and heavy oxidation. Because this is a more aggressive pad, you’ll want a compound to get the best results.

Suggestion: It is best to have 3 or 4 wool pads on hand so you can simply switch pads when one becomes caked.

Use our 7.5-inch foam pads to refine and smooth the paint following compounding.

All of our 7.5-inch pads can use a 6 inch or 7-inch rotary backing plate

This buffing pad features aggressive cutting action when is impregnated with fine abrasive compounds without leaving a swirl mark.

The compound is pressured into the rotating buffing wheel. The buff wheel acts as the carrier of the compound, which ultimately does the surface finishing and produces a bright-lustre finish on metal or composites.

    Removes serious paint imperfections.
