Lake Country SDO Pads have been designed to offer the same great engineered foams as the HDO line, without the dual layer constructions. Lake Country SDO Pads are designed for use on all DA polishers with a centre ventilated backing plate. Lake Country SDO Pads feature a centre hole that provides a tunnel to release and dissipate heat from the foam and reduce surface temperatures and risk of damage to the paint.
Tapered Edge – This prevents the pads from rolling and provides great pad rotation. Great for curved and contoured panels. Allows for precision polishing in tight areas.
HDO Formulation – Consistent performance and firmness throughout heat cycle and user experience.
Center ventilated cooling channel – Dissipates heat away from the centre of the pad, reducing temperatures and increasing durability. The system also allows for perfect pad alignment.

SDO Blue Foam Heavy Cutting Pad Firm, medium density foam for scratch and defect removal. Use this pad with polishes and swirl removers. It’s an all around pad that will work on most light to moderate imperfections. |

SDO Orange Foam Polishing Pad Less dense foam formula for the application of cleaner waxes and light polishes. This pad has very light cutting power so it’s perfect for the removal of light defects and micro marring. |

SDO Black Foam Finishing Pad The composition is firm enough to withstand added pressure during final finishing to remove buffer swirls. It has a very little cut and will apply thin, even coats of waxes, sealants, and glazes, and ultra fine polishes. |

Free Shipping on orders over $150 excluding remote areas and certain weight restrictions apply for free shipping in each state. Trade accounts $250 minimum for free shipping.

For orders with free shipping, we determine whether to use a courier service or Australia Post based on the address. If you prefer your order to be shipped via Australia Post, please select the "Parcel Post" option at checkout.
Note: We do not ship to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers with free shipping.
If your parcel is returned to us, the following conditions outline when additional shipping costs may apply:
*We will not be held responsible for delays or late delivery of Australia Post or courier services.
*If a parcel does not arrive as anticipated, please allow 5-7 working days for Australia Post or couriers to complete process of tracking and locating as in most cases it turns up after 3-7 days of expected delivery. We cannot refund or send another item until this process is completed.
*We don't take responsibility for orders that are lost or stolen once the parcel has been delivered to the correct delivery address.
*Items that are over 21kg may require to pay extra freight costs if in regional or remote areas - we will contact you if this is the case.

At The Detailing Shed, we’re committed to supplying premium-grade car care products. Due to the nature of many of our items, particularly chemicals, our return policy has recently been updated. Please review the following carefully before submitting a return or refund request.
Due to safety and quality control, we do not accept returns on the following items:
Unused and unopened accessories such as brushes, pads, and towels may be eligible for return, pending approval by our customer service team. Email us at info@detailingshed.com.au with your order number and photos of the item(s) to request approval.
Yes, we accept exchanges. If you ordered the incorrect product and need to get something else, send it back under the returns policy and make a separate purchase for the new item.
You may cancel your order if it hasn't yet been processed or shipped. Please note that a 3% transaction fee will be deducted from your refund. The remaining amount will be returned to your original payment method.
Once your order has been processed or dispatched, cancellations are no longer possible. However, you can still return the items in line with our Returns Policy.
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please notify us within 10 days of delivery. Send an email to info@detailingshed.com.au with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We’ll work quickly to arrange a replacement or refund if stock is unavailable.
If you're returning an item valued over $50, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for returned items that are lost in transit.
If an item hasn’t arrived, please allow 7–15 business days after Australia Post or the courier begins their investigation. We’ll notify you once your case is resolved and any refund or replacement is processed.
Please note: Product packaging or colours may vary from online images due to manufacturer updates. Refunds will not be issued for these variations unless the product is faulty or incorrect.
Discount codes must be applied at checkout and cannot be added to an existing order. We are unable to apply discount codes or refund the difference once an order is processed. "These are a unique foam formulation made by the company I buy from in Europe. These are formulated to hold their density all day long in automotive manufacturers paint plants when they polish sections of panels or whole cars after sanding (aston martin for example) These have such tiny pores that the pad has the ability to remove any wool pad marks plus moderate to medium level swirl marks but yet finish down amazingly well on all bar the softest dark colours. Some pads soften too quickly which means you need to use more pads and a few don't soften at all and this is not ideal. I've used these since 2016 and are my #1 favourite foam. From light cut to heavy polishing, polishing and semi finishing all with one pad. To clean the pad I recommend spraying the face of it with Optimum No Rinse at 1:50 or 1:100 ratio, rub with your hands fairly gently or lightly briskly then use compressed air to remove the residue and the moisture from the ONR, this will leave an extremely clean pad face moistened ready for another section of a panel to be polished"
