The Lake Country HDO Black Finishing Pad will provide you with an ultimate finish on even the most complex of paints!
This pad has an aggressive cell structure, but it is extremely soft in density.
This will allow you to achieve an amazing deep clarity finish on even the softest of paints!
The HDO line of pads are perfectly balanced, cushioned, and feature thinner foam. This thinner foam reduces foam movement which will reduce heat (10% cooler) which can cause hazing and micro-marring while polishing.
These pads are beveled at a 70 degree angle and this design prevents pad "rolling", allowing the pad to stay flat on the surface. The open cell cooling chamber in the centre of the pad is another great feature of this pad as it helps keep the pad running at cooler temps, increasing durability and polishing results.
This increases durability and polishing results. The backing of these pads will also withstand the large throw of the Rupes, Maxshine, ZENTool and other high powered large throw machines.
This pad comes in three sizes
3.5" pads are perfect for 3" backing plates.
5.5" pads fit on 5" backing plates.
6.5" pads fit on 6" backing plates.

HDO Fiber Heavy Cutting Pad Features a microfiber nap that removes heavy imperfections from your painted surfaces. Like other microfiber pads, it will enough to remove moderate to severe paint imperfections, but finishes like a foam pad. |

For orders with free shipping, we determine whether to use a courier service or Australia Post based on the address. If you prefer your order to be shipped via Australia Post, please select the "Parcel Post" option at checkout.
Note: We do not ship to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers with free shipping.
If your parcel is returned to us, the following conditions outline when additional shipping costs may apply:
*We will not be held responsible for delays or late delivery of Australia Post or courier services.
*If a parcel does not arrive as anticipated, please allow 5-7 working days for Australia Post or couriers to complete process of tracking and locating as in most cases it turns up after 3-7 days of expected delivery. We cannot refund or send another item until this process is completed.
*We don't take responsibility for orders that are lost or stolen once the parcel has been delivered to the correct delivery address.
*Items that are over 21kg may require to pay extra freight costs if in regional or remote areas - we will contact you if this is the case.

Due to safety and quality control, we do not accept returns on the following items:
Unused and unopened accessories such as brushes, pads, and towels may be eligible for return, pending approval by our customer service team. Email us at info@detailingshed.com.au with your order number and photos of the item(s) to request approval.
Yes, we accept exchanges. If you ordered the incorrect product and need to get something else, send it back under the returns policy and make a separate purchase for the new item.
You may cancel your order if it hasn't yet been processed or shipped. Please note that a 3% transaction fee will be deducted from your refund. The remaining amount will be returned to your original payment method.
Once your order has been processed or dispatched, cancellations are no longer possible. However, you can still return the items in line with our Returns Policy.
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please notify us within 10 days of delivery. Send an email to info@detailingshed.com.au with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We’ll work quickly to arrange a replacement or refund if stock is unavailable.
If you're returning an item valued over $50, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for returned items that are lost in transit.
If an item hasn’t arrived, please allow 7–15 business days after Australia Post or the courier begins their investigation. We’ll notify you once your case is resolved and any refund or replacement is processed.
Please note: Product packaging or colours may vary from online images due to manufacturer updates. Refunds will not be issued for these variations unless the product is faulty or incorrect.
Discount codes must be applied at checkout and cannot be added to an existing order. We are unable to apply discount codes or refund the difference once an order is processed. "Used this pad after a Gyeon pad wore out on a VW Golf after a single use. Used this one to apply a finishing polish to an BMW X5. The Lake Country pad faired much better than the Gyeon, was easy to clean and still has lots of life left in it. Also service from Detailing Shed was awesome!
