1000W. 15 litres dry, 9 wet, 6 extraction. 10 metre cable plus 5 metres of hose. George is the machine detailers buy when a shop vacuum stops being enough. Dry vacuum, wet vacuum and carpet extractor in one British-built unit, so you can lift dry debris, pull up spills and deep clean fabric seats without owning three separate machines.

Best extractor for mobile and single-bay detailers who need genuine carpet and upholstery extraction without the size, weight or price of a commercial box extractor.

4-in-1 1000W bypass motor 15L dry / 9L wet / 6L extraction 10 m cable 11 kg 240V 10 Amp 2 year warranty
What it doesDry vacuuming, wet pick-up, and hot or cold water extraction for carpets and upholstery. Four jobs, one machine.
PowerStandard 240V outlet. A 10 metre cable plus 3 metres of extraction hose and 2 metres of vacuum hose, so you can usually work a whole vehicle without moving the plug. Numatic quote a 26.8 metre cleaning range for the machine.
Portability11 kg and 360 x 370 x 510 mm. One person can lift it into a van, and it is small enough to live in the corner of a home garage.
Air qualityTriTex filtration with triple-layer HepaFlo bags, so fine dust and pet hair stay in the bag rather than blowing back into the cabin.
Worth knowingShips with a fifteen-piece accessory kit, but dust bags are sold separately. Add a pack of HepaFlo 604016 to your first order.

Best suited to

Ideal for

  • Mobile detailers who need extraction but have limited van space
  • Single-bay studios doing regular interior work
  • Anyone whose shop vacuum cannot shift set-in staining
  • Part-time and weekend detailers wanting commercial capability
  • Family car interiors: pet hair, sand, spilled drinks

Not the right choice if

  • You need heated extraction, George runs cold or pre-heated solution only. See the Mytee range below
  • You are extracting several full interiors a day, where a heated machine saves real time
  • You want a dedicated dry vacuum and will never use extraction
  • You need a machine that stays mounted with a long hose run

What it can handle

Task Suitability
Dry vacuuming, carpets and mats Excellent15 litre capacity with bagged filtration. Works as a full-time dry vacuum.
Pet hair and sand Excellent2400 mm H2O suction with 49 L/sec airflow, and bags that empty cleanly.
Cloth seat extraction ExcellentThe upholstery tool and 29 psi pump are what this machine exists for.
Carpet and boot liner extraction Excellent
Wet spills and standing water Excellent9 litre wet capacity. Fit the safety float valve before any wet work.
Headliners SuitableUse minimal solution. Over-wetting a headliner risks the adhesive.
Leather seats Not the toolLeather is cleaned and conditioned by hand, not extracted.
Back-to-back full interiors all day Check requirementsThe 6 litre solution tank means regular refilling at that volume, and there is no heat. A heated Mytee suits that throughput better.

Suitability above is general guidance based on the machine's published capacity and the way these surfaces are normally cleaned, not a performance guarantee. Results depend on the chemical used, how soiled the vehicle is, and technique. Always test an inconspicuous area first on older or delicate trim.

Extraction is the reason to buy it

A wet and dry vacuum and an extractor are not the same machine, and the difference is worth understanding before you spend the money.

A wet and dry vacuum removes what is already loose. Dry debris, and water sitting on the surface. Useful, but it will not lift anything that has bonded to the fibres.

An extractor injects cleaning solution into the fibres under pressure, then immediately vacuums the dirty solution back out. That is how coffee, milk, pet mess and ground-in grime actually leave a carpet, rather than getting wet and moving around.

George runs a 240V 29 psi pump for that job, with a tank-within-a-tank design that keeps clean solution and recovered dirty water completely separate. Simple to fill, quick to empty, and no cross-contamination.

Why choose George

10 metre cable, 5 metres of hose

Enough reach to work around a vehicle without hunting for a second outlet, which matters on a driveway job where the nearest power point is inside the house. Numatic rate the cleaning range at 26.8 metres.

11 kg and compact

Light enough for one person to lift in and out of a van, which is the practical difference between a machine you use and one that stays in the workshop.

Commercial platform

Built on Numatic's Cleantec chassis rather than a consumer one, and made in Britain. The same machines are used in commercial cleaning every day.

Bagged filtration

TriTex with triple-layer HepaFlo bags. Fine dust stays in the bag instead of recirculating into a cabin you have just cleaned, and bags empty without making a mess.

Tank within a tank

Clean solution and recovered dirty water are completely separate, so you are never spraying yesterday's dirt back into a seat.

Front-mounted controls

The vacuum and water pump switches sit on the front of the machine, so you can reach them while working rather than turning the unit around. A plugged cable and improved carry handle keep the lead tidy between jobs.

Complete kit

Fifteen items including two hoses, wands, four floor and upholstery tools, crevice and fishtail tools and the TriTex filter. Add a pack of bags and you are working.

Getting the best results

Step Why it matters
1. Dry vacuum first, always Extracting over loose grit turns it into mud and drives it deeper into the fibres. This is the single most common mistake.
2. Pre-treat and agitate Spray your upholstery cleaner, work it in with a carpet brush, leave it a minute, then extract. The chemical does the cleaning, the machine removes it.
3. Extract Slow, overlapping passes. Let the machine pull the solution back out rather than rushing.
4. Finish with dry passes Several passes with no solution pulls out as much moisture as possible. Less water left behind means faster drying and no musty smell in the car two days later.
Before any wet work Swap the dry filter for the safety float valve. Running wet on the dry filter will ruin it.

Drying time is what customers notice. An interior that still smells damp on day three is the most common complaint after an extraction job. Extra dry passes and airflow through the cabin afterwards fix it.

Choosing the right machine

George is an unheated extractor. That is the single most useful thing to understand when deciding whether it is enough for your work.

Heat matters because hot water dissolves oils and body grease far more readily than cold, and a heated machine leaves less moisture behind, so interiors dry faster. For a detailer doing a few cars a week, cold extraction with a good pre-treatment chemical handles almost everything. For someone doing several heavily soiled interiors a day, heat saves real time.

Stay with George if you work on one vehicle at a time, carry the machine in and out of a van, and want extraction capability without a commercial machine's size or price.
Step up to heated extraction if you are running several interiors a day, dealing with heavily soiled vehicles regularly, or drying time between jobs is costing you. Our heated options, all Mytee:
You will also want a pack of HepaFlo bags, part 604016, a carpet brush for agitation and a fabric and upholstery cleaner. The machine removes the dirt, the chemical and the brush are what release it.

Common questions

What is the difference between this and a normal wet and dry vacuum?

A wet and dry vacuum only removes what is already loose. George sprays cleaning solution into carpet and fabric under 29 psi pressure and vacuums it straight back out, which is what genuinely lifts staining rather than just wetting it. If your current vacuum leaves marks behind that will not shift, this is the difference.

Can I use it as an everyday dry vacuum?

Yes. It is a full dry vacuum with 15 litre capacity and HepaFlo bag filtration, and plenty of owners use it that way most of the time. The extraction function is there when you need it, not something you are forced to use.

Which dust bags does it take?

HepaFlo bags, part 604016, NVM-2BH, sold in packs of 10. These are not the same bags as a Henry, which uses 604015, so check the part number before ordering. Bags are not included with the machine, so order a pack at the same time. Running it without a bag lets fine dust through to the motor filter, and Numatic advise that unapproved bags can damage the machine and may invalidate the warranty.

Is it suitable for mobile detailing?

Yes, and it is one of the better choices for it. At 11 kg one person can lift it in and out of a van, and the 10 metre cable plus 5 metres of hose usually reaches around a whole vehicle without moving the plug. Numatic rate the cleaning range at 26.8 metres.

Does it heat the water?

No. George extracts with cold or pre-heated solution, it has no internal heater. You can fill the tank with warm water if your chemical benefits from it, though it will cool during the job. For genuine heated extraction every Mytee we stock has a heater built in, starting with the S-300H at $1,900.

How long does the interior take to dry?

That depends more on technique than the machine. Several dry passes with no solution after extracting pulls out most of the remaining moisture, and airflow through the cabin afterwards does the rest. Rushing the dry passes is the usual reason a car still smells damp days later.

Does it work on anything besides carpet?

Carpets, cloth seats, floor mats and boot linings are the main uses. It also handles hard floors, wet spills and general workshop clean-up. Headliners need a light touch with minimal solution, and leather should be cleaned by hand rather than extracted.

What is the warranty?

Two years. Numatic machines are built on a commercial platform and parts are available in Australia, which matters on a machine you intend to keep for years rather than replace.
