For orders with free shipping, we determine whether to use a courier service or Australia Post based on the address. If you prefer your order to be shipped via Australia Post, please select the "Parcel Post" option at checkout.
Note: We do not ship to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers with free shipping.
If your parcel is returned to us, the following conditions outline when additional shipping costs may apply:
*We will not be held responsible for delays or late delivery of Australia Post or courier services.
*If a parcel does not arrive as anticipated, please allow 5-7 working days for Australia Post or couriers to complete process of tracking and locating as in most cases it turns up after 3-7 days of expected delivery. We cannot refund or send another item until this process is completed.
*We don't take responsibility for orders that are lost or stolen once the parcel has been delivered to the correct delivery address.
*Items that are over 21kg may require to pay extra freight costs if in regional or remote areas - we will contact you if this is the case.

At The Detailing Shed, we’re committed to supplying premium-grade car care products. Due to the nature of many of our items, particularly chemicals, our return policy has recently been updated. Please review the following carefully before submitting a return or refund request.
Due to safety and quality control, we do not accept returns on the following items:
Unused and unopened accessories such as brushes, pads, and towels may be eligible for return, pending approval by our customer service team. Email us at info@detailingshed.com.au with your order number and photos of the item(s) to request approval.
Yes, we accept exchanges. If you ordered the incorrect product and need to get something else, send it back under the returns policy and make a separate purchase for the new item.
You may cancel your order if it hasn't yet been processed or shipped. Please note that a 3% transaction fee will be deducted from your refund. The remaining amount will be returned to your original payment method.
Once your order has been processed or dispatched, cancellations are no longer possible. However, you can still return the items in line with our Returns Policy.
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please notify us within 10 days of delivery. Send an email to info@detailingshed.com.au with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We’ll work quickly to arrange a replacement or refund if stock is unavailable.
If you're returning an item valued over $50, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for returned items that are lost in transit.
If an item hasn’t arrived, please allow 7–15 business days after Australia Post or the courier begins their investigation. We’ll notify you once your case is resolved and any refund or replacement is processed.
Please note: Product packaging or colours may vary from online images due to manufacturer updates. Refunds will not be issued for these variations unless the product is faulty or incorrect.
Discount codes must be applied at checkout and cannot be added to an existing order. We are unable to apply discount codes or refund the difference once an order is processed. "Thinking of Ceramic coat and it is your 1st . Then Detail Shed is the people that will guide you step by step on the product to purchase and application, it will save you more than 200% then getting it done with the detailers . I was disappointed when my other car was professional done at the detailer sealing minor scratch and swirl marks under the ceramic sealant. This is when i decided to get it done at home. This was the easiest application i ever did on the Mazda CX30. To make it simple i only watched Gtechniq Video on Coating. If you think it is too much work in prep work get the car paint corrected and polished at the detailer and do ceramic at home will still save you lot of money. We did the Wheels Glass and the Trim with Fabric seat its is absolutely fabulous. The results was outstanding and my brother can see the major difference with 0 car knowledge , paint is more sleek and he said the gtech glass coating is awesome. "My first DIY attempt at a ceramic coat. Prepped with wash > iron remover > wash > claybar > wash. Found that best to aim for a small square at a time, for me the product didn`t spread as far as I could see in online videos. Get one more thicker buffing cloth, GTechniq ones are good, but that final buff just easier with a thicker cloth as backup. My garage lighting was average so had one high sport on rear trunk. Reapplied product over section and fixed it. Overall this product was forgiving if you catch marks early, but being rated 5 year you still want to make sure you are on top of it. Awesome outcome, car looks mint. Water beads off nicely as well. Will re-apply every 2-3 years and definitely recommend Crystal Serum Light."
"My mate recommend this after I was quoted a ridiculous amount of money to get a protective coating through the car dealership that I bought the car from. I was expecting that applying this product was going to be a really horrendously difficult and tedious job.. It wasn't! Actually it was easier than doing a full car polish, and a lot less strenuous. The end product? An amazing glossy, smooth finish that I am incredibly proud of. I can't stop running the back of my hand over it. It feels that smooth! I even took a photo of my reflection in the back door of the car because I couldn't believe how well it came up. Great investment. Twenty percent of the cost to have it done professionally!"
