With increasing restrictions on the use of solvent-containing degreasers and cleaners safer, water-based materials have been developed.
However, it has been difficult to match the performance of the solvent-containing systems and increasing environmental restrictions on the ranges of acceptable water-based actives and have further tested the formulators’ ability.
Surfex-HD provides performance levels that match and even exceed solvent systems while meeting the latest standards of biodegradability.
Surfex-HD attacks all oil and grease based soiling, but unlike solvent-based cleaners will additionally and effortlessly clean organic, or water-deposited grime.
Surfex-HD can be adjusted in strength to suit the level of soil, remaining active at levels of just 1 part to 200 in water for light work, or used neat for extreme duty work.
Surfex-HD is recommended for all arduous automotive, commercial and domestic cleaning duties.
It can be used on exterior and interior surfaces, paint, alloy wheels, tyres, fabric, carpets and most surfaces. Spot tests are always advisable.
Surfex-HD can be sprayed, brushed or applied using pressure washer equipment.
A Comparison
Surfex-HD contains zero VOCs, is biodegradable, non-toxic and pleasant to use, yet its ability to remove grease and oil based contamination exceeds many well-know solvent-based degreasers.
Using water-based degreasers allows the adjustment of strength to suit the job. Surfex-HD can be added to water at just 0.5% to form an effective cleaner for light application and increased in strength to neat if required for heavy industrial applications.
Surfex-HD is used on cool surfaces diluted from 1 part in 100 for light cleaning or use neat for maximum grease and oil removal.

*Items that are over 21kg may require to pay extra freight costs if in regional or remote areas - we will contact you if this is the case.

How do I submit a return request?
To set up a return, please email info@detailingshed.com.au first for approval. You must provide your order number and the items you want to return. After you have contacted us and we review your return request, we will assign you an authorisation number.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund and deduct any restocking fees. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3 days.
If you are shipping an item over $50, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned items if you have not followed this process.
Late or missing items (if applicable)
If an item has not been delivered yet, please allow 7-15 working days after Australia Post or courier has started process of tracking and locating parcel before we can refund or send out another item. We will notify you by email once you have been refunded.
Packaging and Colour Discrepancies
Product packaging received may differ from the images displayed online and could be updated or have variations. Slight differences in colour may exist between the images advertised online and the physical product. In some instances, manufacturers may change the original colour of the product. We maintain the discretion to decline refund requests arising from variations in colour of the product and packaging.
