The Great 8 is built for long-lasting finishing scent.
That means it is perfect when the vehicle is clean, detailed, or already de-funked.
But if the vehicle has a real odor problem, fragrance can only do so much. Smoke, mildew, pet odor, spilled food, sweat, and used-car funk can hide in the cabin, vents, carpet, seats, mats, headliner, and under-seat areas.
How To Use The Great 8
Best Placement
The sweet spot is under the front passenger seat, near the floor vent area.
That location keeps the bar out of sight while allowing airflow to help move scent through the cabin.
Do not place the bar directly on leather, vinyl, plastic, painted trim, or finished surfaces. Fragrance oils can stain or mark sensitive materials.
How Long Does Each Bar Last?
Each full bar is designed for long-lasting scent. Longevity depends on vehicle size, heat, airflow, scent choice, and personal preference.
Warmer temperatures and stronger airflow can make scent show up faster and stronger.
Cooler temperatures and lower airflow can make scent feel more subtle.
Can I Split the Bars?
Yes. Many customers split bars for smaller spaces, lighter scent, or multiple applications.
Use the full bar when you want a stronger scent experience. Use a smaller section when you want a lighter hit of fresh.
Is This Odor Removal?
No. The Great 8 is a finishing scent bundle.
These bars are made to make a clean vehicle smell fresh, not to solve deep odor problems by themselves.
If the vehicle smells like smoke, weed, mildew, pets, food, sweat, or used-car funk, use the Vehicle Deodorization Kit first.
If the odor is embedded in surfaces, seats, carpet, mats, vents, tools, or gear, bring in Bio-Bomb Minis for direct-contact cleaning and deodorizing.

For orders with free shipping, we determine whether to use a courier service or Australia Post based on the address. If you prefer your order to be shipped via Australia Post, please select the "Parcel Post" option at checkout.
Note: We do not ship to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers with free shipping.
If your parcel is returned to us, the following conditions outline when additional shipping costs may apply:
*We will not be held responsible for delays or late delivery of Australia Post or courier services.
*If a parcel does not arrive as anticipated, please allow 5-7 working days for Australia Post or couriers to complete process of tracking and locating as in most cases it turns up after 3-7 days of expected delivery. We cannot refund or send another item until this process is completed.
*We don't take responsibility for orders that are lost or stolen once the parcel has been delivered to the correct delivery address.
*Items that are over 21kg may require to pay extra freight costs if in regional or remote areas - we will contact you if this is the case.

At The Detailing Shed, we’re committed to supplying premium-grade car care products. Due to the nature of many of our items, particularly chemicals, our return policy has recently been updated. Please review the following carefully before submitting a return or refund request.
Due to safety and quality control, we do not accept returns on the following items:
Unused and unopened accessories such as brushes, pads, and towels may be eligible for return, pending approval by our customer service team. Email us at info@detailingshed.com.au with your order number and photos of the item(s) to request approval.
Yes, we accept exchanges. If you ordered the incorrect product and need to get something else, send it back under the returns policy and make a separate purchase for the new item.
You may cancel your order if it hasn't yet been processed or shipped. Please note that a 3% transaction fee will be deducted from your refund. The remaining amount will be returned to your original payment method.
Once your order has been processed or dispatched, cancellations are no longer possible. However, you can still return the items in line with our Returns Policy.
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please notify us within 10 days of delivery. Send an email to info@detailingshed.com.au with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We’ll work quickly to arrange a replacement or refund if stock is unavailable.
If you're returning an item valued over $50, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for returned items that are lost in transit.
If an item hasn’t arrived, please allow 7–15 business days after Australia Post or the courier begins their investigation. We’ll notify you once your case is resolved and any refund or replacement is processed.
Please note: Product packaging or colours may vary from online images due to manufacturer updates. Refunds will not be issued for these variations unless the product is faulty or incorrect.
Discount codes must be applied at checkout and cannot be added to an existing order. We are unable to apply discount codes or refund the difference once an order is processed. Please ensure any promotional codes are entered correctly before completing your purchase. If you experience any issues applying a code, feel free to contact us before finalising your order.
