Labocosmetica PRELUDIO Acidic is an innovative acidic pre-treatment solution specifically designed for use before waterless car washing. This powerful solution effectively removes inorganic mineral contaminants such as limescale stains that traditional neutral cleaners cannot remove. Especially after rain or snowfall, a residue forms that affects the appearance of the vehicle and is difficult to remove without an acidic treatment.
PRELUDIO Acidic penetrates these stubborn deposits, dissolves them and restores the original shine of the paint without damaging the surface. This formula is particularly effective in preparing the bodywork for a waterless wash, allowing a safe and thorough cleaning without water.
PRELUDIO Acidic specifically addresses inorganic dirt of mineral origin that requires an acidic pH treatment to dissolve and remove. Unlike pH neutral or alkaline cleaners, it specialises in effectively removing this type of dirt that tends to solidify on the bodywork. A pH neutral or alkaline product is not sufficient to remove this microscopic mineral layer that solidifies and layers on the paint, and this is where the power of PRELUDIO Acidic is essential.
Labocosmetica PRELUDIO Acidic’s emollient acid formula penetrates limescale deposits and mineral films, dissolving them and lifting them from the surface more quickly and effectively than a neutral or alkaline product. This allows you to remove dirt and contamination that has now softened, minimising the risk of micro scratches on the bodywork of your car. The product is less powerful than a specific product for removing limescale stains and mineral residues, but it is more delicate and respectful of the treated surfaces and can be used for frequent use.
The acidic formula of PRELUDIO Acidic is unique, thanks to special suspending surfactants that guarantee rapid and effective removal of strongly anchored dirt without compromising the safety of your car.
Mineral residues:Often caused by hard water, mineral residues can leave streaks and stains on the surface of the bodywork that an acid pre-wash can remove.
Limescale deposits:Similar to mineral residues, limescale deposits can form due to the evaporation of water on the bodywork, leaving whitish stains.
Mineral-laden rains:Sandy rains can leave permanent stains if not treated in time. An acid prewash can neutralise and remove these stains from the bodywork.
Industrial dirt:Particles and residues from industrial plants can deposit on the bodywork, making it dull and dirty. An acidic prewash helps dissolve and remove these particles.
Surface oxidation:While it may not act as a specific paint restoration product, an acid prewash can help reduce the appearance of surface oxidation.
Renews PPF (Paint Protection Film):PRELUDIO Acidic works on the PPF by dissolving and removing residues such as mineral deposits, water stains or other substances that a neutral detergent cannot address. The acidity of the product breaks the chemical bonds between dirt and the PPF surface, allowing the film to be purified without damaging it. The PPF will appear clearer and cleaner, and the car surface will feel smoother to the touch and return to its natural hydrophobicity.

*If a parcel does not arrive as anticipated, please allow 5-7 working days for Australia Post or couriers to complete process of tracking and locating as in most cases it turns up after 3-7 days of expected delivery. We cannot refund or send another item until this process is completed.
*We don't take responsibility for orders that are lost or stolen once the parcel has been delivered to the correct delivery address.
*Items that are over 21kg may require to pay extra freight costs if in regional or remote areas - we will contact you if this is the case.

How do I submit a return request?
To set up a return, please email info@detailingshed.com.au first for approval. You must provide your order number and the items you want to return. After you have contacted us and we review your return request, we will assign you an authorisation number.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund and deduct any restocking fees. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3 days.
If you are shipping an item over $50, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned items if you have not followed this process.
Late or missing items (if applicable)
If an item has not been delivered yet, please allow 7-15 working days after Australia Post or courier has started process of tracking and locating parcel before we can refund or send out another item. We will notify you by email once you have been refunded.
Packaging and Colour Discrepancies
Product packaging received may differ from the images displayed online and could be updated or have variations. Slight differences in colour may exist between the images advertised online and the physical product. In some instances, manufacturers may change the original colour of the product. We maintain the discretion to decline refund requests arising from variations in colour of the product and packaging.
