2.2 hp. 210 L/min FAD. 60 litre tank. Standard 10A outlet. The Puma P14-60L is the entry point into the range and the most compact model we stock, sized to run from a standard 10A outlet without electrical work. Puma have been sold in Australia for over 40 years and are supported here by Glenco Air & Power.
Best Puma compressor for mobile detailers needing a compact 10A setup for blow guns, tyre inflation and intermittent interior cleaning gun use.
| Application | Suitability |
|---|---|
| Blow guns | ExcellentWell suited to typical blow-gun use. |
| Air blow-out and detailing tools | ExcellentWell suited to typical detailing work. |
| Tornador-style interior guns | Suitable210 L/min covers this, though sustained use will cycle the motor often. |
| Pneumatic polishers | Check requirementsCheck your polisher's stated air consumption against 210 L/min before ordering. |
| Pneumatic sanders | Check requirementsSanders are among the highest-draw tools. Confirm requirements first. |
| Multiple air tools at once | Check requirementsDepends entirely on which tools. Contact us with your list. |
| High-consumption tools | Check requirementsLikely to exceed this compressor's output. Consider the P22 or three-phase range. |
Ratings above are guidance based on the compressor's Free Air Delivery against typical air consumption for each tool type. They are not a performance guarantee. Actual results depend on your specific tools, working pressure, air line setup and how continuously you run them. Check your tool's air requirement before ordering, or get in touch and we will check it for you.
The usable output figure, not pump displacement. This is what actually reaches your tool.
Enough buffer for burst work such as blowing out panels and wheel arches between passes.
Sized to run on a standard 10 amp circuit, so no switchboard work is needed.
The same pump family used across the 240V range, running at a slow 1,100 rpm.
Belt drive turns the pump slower than direct drive, which means less heat and longer pump life.
A 5 micron filter regulator is fitted as standard, removing dirt and water and giving accurate pressure control, with a Nitto-style coupling on the outlet.
The 240V motor was developed and tested in Australia. Totally enclosed fan-cooled construction keeps dirt and moisture out of the windings.
Solid rubber on steel wheels with ball bearing hubs. Never goes flat, moves easily across a workshop floor.
Compressor air output is quoted two different ways, and the difference catches a lot of buyers out.
Pump displacement is the volume the pump sweeps on every rotation. It is a theoretical figure and it is always the larger of the two, which is why it often appears first in marketing.
Free Air Delivery (FAD) is the air that actually reaches your tool once losses through the valves, rings and heat are accounted for. This is the number that determines whether your equipment will run properly.
We list FAD as the headline figure on every Puma page. If you are comparing this against another compressor and that one only quotes displacement, you are not comparing like with like. Always ask for the FAD figure.

A compressor on its own is only the starting point. What reaches your tool depends just as much on filtration and pipework.
Glenco publish a full maintenance schedule for oil-lubricated compressors. Keeping to it is what determines how many years you get out of the pump.
| Interval | Task |
|---|---|
| Daily | Check the oil level and inspect for oil leaks. Drain accumulated condensate from the tank; daily draining is recommended where the compressor is used frequently. |
| Weekly | Check or clean the air filter, test the safety valve, inspect for air leaks. |
| Monthly | Check the V-belt, tighten fasteners, clean the unit. |
| 3 months or 500 hours | Replace the oil. |
| 12 months or 2,000 hours | Replace the air filter. |
| 2 years or 4,000 hours | Replace the filter-regulator and V-belt. |
Consumables including filters, lubricants and V-belts are not covered by warranty. Service intervals should be shortened in harsher working conditions.

Free air delivery is the figure to size your tools against. Higher pressure and higher flow are a trade-off at each amp rating, so pick based on what your tools actually require.
210 L/min free air delivery (7.4 cfm) at up to 1,000 kPa (145 psi). Pump displacement is 270 L/min, but FAD is the figure to compare against your tools.
Free Air Delivery. It is the air that actually reaches your tool after losses inside the pump, as opposed to pump displacement which is the theoretical volume the pump sweeps. FAD is always the lower number and always the more useful one.
Blow guns, tyre inflators and general detailing blow-out tools comfortably. Interior cleaning guns are workable. For pneumatic sanders or polishers, check the tool's air requirement against 210 L/min first.
This depends entirely on which tools and how continuously they run, so we do not quote a fixed number. Send us your equipment list and we will work it out properly.
240V single phase from a standard 10A outlet. No dedicated circuit is normally required, though we would not recommend sharing the circuit with other heavy loads.
Yes, for a single operator doing blow-drying, tyre inflation and interior work. A 5 micron filter regulator is fitted as standard, so you do not need to buy a basic filter. For paint, coating or PPF work, add a suitable coalescing filter downstream to reduce oil aerosol.
Delivery is charged at cost for this model. Contact us with your postcode for a freight quote.
No. It plugs into a standard power point and is ready to use once you have checked the oil level.
Glenco Air & Power provide a 12 month warranty against defects in material and workmanship from the date of original sale. Electric motors carry whatever warranty the motor manufacturer provides. Consumables including filters, lubricants and V-belts are not covered, nor is normal wear and tear. Keep your tax invoice as proof of purchase.
Glenco publish a full schedule. Daily: check the oil level, inspect for oil leaks and drain the air tank. Weekly: check or clean the air filter, test the safety valve and inspect for air leaks. Monthly: check the V-belt, tighten fasteners and clean the unit. Every 3 months or 500 hours: replace the oil. Every 12 months or 2,000 hours: replace the air filter. Every 2 years or 4,000 hours: replace the filter-regulator and V-belt.
